and
the Future for Humanity
Captain Johnny Archer doesn't make sense in some ways. These 100% accurate images portray him in his Starfleet Captain-Starship Commander uniform approximately 150 years in the future. You may have noticed that in the snapshot he bears a striking resemblance to Mike Keepence, and in the MS Paint rendition he closely resembles Super Mario, however both images are 100% accurate, I assure you.
Much of Captain Johnny's heroism acts have not yet been determined because he is only a recent addition to the list of heros in the world. It is predicted that in the year 2151, he will captain the Akira Class Earth Starship USS Enterprise NX-01 on a mission of interstellar exploration, or in his own words to, "see what's out there."
It has so far been predicted by top future predictor Rick Berman that the mission will begin weeks before the Enterprise's original departure date, because a Klingon (a race not yet known to us) ship will crash in a corn field on Earth. Archer will battle space aliens for Humanity's first time, to take the Klingon ("Klaang") back to Q'onoS (the Klingon home world) as a friendly gesture between Humans and Klingons.
Archer's crew will consist mainly of Humans with the exception of Vulcan Science Officer Sub-Commander "T'Pol," and Denobulan Chief Medical Officer from the Interplanetary Medical Exchange "Phlox."
Warp technology (the ability to travel faster than light) will be developed for Humans by Zefram Cochrane in 2063, just a few years after the end of WWIII. The warp signature from Cochrane's space craft (the Phoenix) will attract the attention of a passing Vulcan starship, and First Contact will be made the next day.
The Vulcans will have technological devices far superior to ours at the time, including phasers, gravity plating, and tractor beams, and they will deny us these technologies for many decades because they feel that we aren't, "ready," for them. A Vulcan presence will remain on Earth forever after, always preventing us from making our first interstellar journey into space until the Enterprise and the influence of Captain Johnny's father, Admiral Archer.
Relations with the Vulcans will improve enough by the 2200s for our two peoples to form the United Federation of Planets. In the 2250s, Captain James Kirk will captain the second Enterprise–this time the Constitution Class USS Enterprise NCC-1701-- on another mission of exploration, this one lasting only five years. By the 2360s, over 150 different races will have joined The Federation, which will be thriving and defending itself against evil forces like The Dominion and the Borg, while improving our relations with aliens like the Bajorans, Klingons, and Romulans.
All of these events will be thanks to the first mission of the USS Enterprise NX-01 under the command of Captain Johnny Archer in the future. How can we be sure that these events will really happen? For proof, watch channel 31, Wednesdays at 8:00PM. You go, John!
